    • MITSUBISHI EXPANDS WITH THE ADDITION OF OUR NEWEST SALES MANAGER

    Hunt Valley, MD, based Mitsubishi Heavy Industries America is pleased to announce the welcome addition of Mr. Bill Gempp as our new Eastern Region Sales Manager. Bill will have responsibilities for sales in the Eastern region of the United States. The success of the MHI product line has made this move possible, and his new position will allow MHI to better serve our customers. Bill will be headquartered out of MHI offices in Hunt Valley, MD.
    Bill has over 15 years of experience in the Corrugated Industry, most recently with Sun Automation Group in Sparks, MD. He has also owned and managed his own company representing other suppliers to the industry including JB Machinery and Hitek. We at MHI welcome Bill, and his extensive experience, to the MHI family, and wish him much success in his new position.

    • OVER 20 EVOL INSTALLATIONS RUNNING IN NORTH AMERICA

    Mitsubishi closes out 2008 with over 20 EVOLs running in North America. Actually, over 20 machines have been installed in just the last two years! People who see this machine in operation cannot wait to have one revolutionize their plant.

    Virtually all EVOLs have been running at the machine's top speed of 350 boxes per minute with minimal downtime. The 34" x 84" EVOL with a minimum sheet size of 8.7" sets up in as little as two minutes. The EVOL's accuracy and high productivity are yielding great returns to all of our customers. In addition, the consistently superior box quality is bringing requests from end users for box makers to use EVOLs for their orders.
