The CNC (Computerized Numerical Control) unit is the brain of the Summit II, achieving simple, easy operation and including a teaching function to eliminate quality variations.

• Memory capacity for daily schedule - 100 orders
• Memory capacity of repeat orders - 1800 orders (9000 orders optionally available)
• Data link with office - Either floppy disc or on-line data link is optionally available

• Teaching Function - Actual operating data such as box dimensions, registration, and calipers are fed back to CNC memory, eliminating fine adjustments on repeat orders.
• Data link to auxiliary equipment - Data transfer from CNC to auxiliary equipment such as the bundling machine and palletizer is optionally available.

Lead Edge Feeder

• Mitsubishi-designed Lead Edge Feeder and paper dust removal devices are standard features to maintain smooth board feeding, even with e-flute and/or cross corrugated board.
• Crush-free feeding mechanism gives minimum board crush, employing a micro-adjusting device on feed rolls.
• Diagnostics to show cause of machine stops.
• Position of the front guides, back stop and side guides are adjusted automatically by preset data.

• 1:1 ratio print to impression cylinder size
• Chrome-plated anilox roll and rubber covered doctor roll with micro-adjusting device achieve high-quality printing.
• Semi-automatic ink wash up system realize quick order change.
• Employing high precision register gearing achieves accurate registration.
• Calipers, indexing, and registration are adjusted automatically by preset data.

• Double creasing rolls promises very accurate folding.
• Unique designed slotter knives permit clean and accurate cutting.
• Positions of slotter knives and creasing rolls are automatically adjusted by preset data.
